链霉亲和素琼脂糖由共价交联琼脂糖组成，与纯链霉亲和素在受控条件下结合。与树脂的稳定链接可尽可能减少链霉亲和素的浸出，同时保持充分的结合活性。该基质适用于柱格式和批处理格式的任何应用，需要高生物素结合能力和低非特异性结合。树脂没有可检测的蛋白酶、DNase或RNase污染。储存缓冲液中以50%浆液提供；10 ml总体积中5 ml沉淀树脂。
