General description
The Floating Rack is a laboratory tool specifically designed to hold D-Tube Dialyzers in an exchange buffer during dialysis. The Mini Floating Rack can accommodate up to nine D-Tube Dialyzer Mini devices simultaneously. To use, insert the dialyzers into the floating rack and place the assembly into the exchange buffer to carry out small-scale dialysis.
Application
The Millipore Floating Rack, Midi may be used to:
- suspend D-Tube dialyzer containing dialysis buffer, enabling efficient removal of salts
- keep dialysis tubes submerged in dialysis buffer, ensuring effective desalting of small-volume biological samples prior to downstream applications such as Liquid Chromatography with Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) proteomics and inhibition assays.
