General description

This BSA powder was produced by a proprietary fractionation process combining heat-shock methodology and the addition of organic solvent. Manufacturing has been optimized to maintain the monomeric form of the molecule. Purity specification is = 95%; typical purity is 100%.

Application

Probumin® BSA products are fit for use as blockers, protein/antibody (conjugate) stabilizers, and in immunoassays (EIA, RIA and serology systems).
