蛋白质印迹：1-10 μg/mL（化学发光技术；45-50 kDa） 应上样约100-400 μg 膜蛋白/泳道，以显示受体条带。在某些体系中可能会存在70kDa条带。

多巴胺受体D3特异性。大鼠多巴胺D3受体是446个氨基酸组成的、G蛋白偶联和跨膜受体蛋白(Giros et al. 1990, 1991; Schmauss et al. 1993; Liu et al. 1994; Fu et al. 1995; Sokoloff et al. 1990; Livingstone et al. 1992)。免疫原肽与其他多巴胺受体（D1、D2、D4或D5）没有显著同源性。
物种反应性：免疫原肽与小鼠具有88%序列同源性，与人/猴的同源性为63%(Giros et al. 1990, 1991; Schmauss et al. 1993; Liu et al. 1994; Fu et al. 1995; Sokoloff et al. 1990; Livingstone et al. 1992)。抗体与各种物种的交叉反应性尚不清楚
