Anti-Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-1 Antibody

Highly pure (>98%) recombinant rat MCP-1

Anti-Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-1 Antibody is an antibody against Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-1 for use in ELISA, WB, NEUT.

ELISA: To detect rat MCP-1 (MCAF) by direct ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of at lease 0.5 μg/mL of this antibody is required. Should allow detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant rat MCP-1 (MCAF).

Western blot: 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL, this dilution should offer a detection limit of 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of rat MCP-1 (100 ng/mL), a concentration of 4.0-6.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Reacts with rat MCP-1

Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Lyophilized from 0.5X PBS pH 7.4. Contains no preservative. Reconstitute with sterile distilled water to 0.1 - 1.0 mg/ml.

Maintain lyophilized material desiccated at 2°-8&deg:C for up to 12 months from date of receipt. After reconstitution maintain at -20°C in convenient undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
