Immunogen
Recombinant fragment of mouse alpha5 integrin (Holers et al. 1989) corresponding to amino acid residues 655-880 of the human protein (Argraves 1987). This region of the molecule is extracellular and is included in the heavy chain (120 kDa).
Physical form
Whole rabbit serum. Liquid, with 0.02% sodium azide.
Preparation Note
Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 12 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Adeno-associated virus (AAV) entry is determined by its interactions with specific surface glycans and a proteinaceous receptor(s). Adeno-associated virus receptor (AAVR) (also named KIAA0319L) is an essential cellular receptor required for the transduction of vectors derived from multiple AAV serotypes
