General description

MMP-3(基质金属蛋白酶 3),也称为基质溶酶 1,是锌内肽酶的基质金属蛋白酶(MMP)家族的成员。在胚胎发育、形态发生和组织重塑过程中,需要 MMP’s 去除细胞外基质机制。金属蛋白酶的内源性组织抑制剂(TIMPs)负责调节 MMP-3。该系统的任何破坏都可能导致关节炎、转移、动脉粥样硬化和肿瘤生长等疾病。
