Gene Information
rat ... Shank1(78957)
General description
Shank is a novel family of postsynaptic density proteins (PSD) that bind to PDS-95-associated protein GKAP. Its putative function is to act as a scaffold protein in the PSD to cross-link NMDA receptors/PSD-95 complexes and couple them to regulators of the actin cytoskeleton. Shank1a is a splice variant of Shank1.
Immunogen
Epitope: N-terminus
Synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminus of rat Shank1a.
Application
Anti-SHANK1a Antibody, N-terminus is an antibody against SHANK1a for use in WB.

MHC class I molecules (MHC-I) have been implicated in nervous system development in the mouse. In this study we present evidence for the interaction of MHC-I with the NK cell receptor Ly49 in primary cortical neuronal cultures. We show that
