General description
组蛋白H2A是参与真核细胞染色质结构的5种主要组蛋白之一。H2A具有一个主要的球状结构域和一个长N末端的尾巴,其与核糖体核小体′串珠′结构体的结构有关。组蛋白的泛素化在DNA相关过程的调节中起着至关重要的作用。
观察值〜23 kDa。Uniprot描述了一种14 kDa的亚型;然而,由于单泛素化,可能在〜23 kDa处观察到这种蛋白。
