General description

Glucosamine-6-phosphate isomerase 2 (GNPDA2), also known as Glucosamine-6-phosphate deaminase 2 and Glucosamine-6-phosphate isomerase SB52, is an allosteric enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of GNP to fructose-6-phosphate and ammonia. It consists of seven exons and six introns. GNPDA2 is ubiquitously expressed in most human tissues with high expression in testis, ovary, placenta, and heart.

~31 kDa observed. Uncharacterized bands may appear in some lysates. Uniprot describes 1 isoform at ~29 kDa and 2 isoforms at ~31 kDa

Immunogen

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human GNPDA2.

Application

Anti-GNPDA2 Antibody is a highly specific rabbit polyclonal antibody, that targets Glucosamine-6-phosphate isomerase 2 & has been tested in western blotting & ICC.

Immunocytochemistry Analysis: 4 µg/mL from a representative lot detected GNPDA2 in HEK293 cells.

Analysis Note

Evaluated by Western Blotting in human kidney tissue lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: 1 µg/mL of this antibody detected GNPDA2 in 15 µg of human kidney tissue lysate.
