General description
COL3A1 基因位于人染色体 2q32.2，编码III型胶原蛋白的 α1链。III 型胶原蛋白是一种细胞外基质，包含一个由三条α1链组成的长三螺旋结构域。III 型胶原蛋白是中空性器官（如大血管、子宫和肠）的主要结构成分。人III型胶原纯化方法如下：以温和的胃蛋白酶消化后，对人胎盘的乙酸提取物进行连续盐沉淀、乙醇沉淀和DEAE色谱。 产品来源：人胎盘，HbsAG、HCV和HIV 1 & 2抗体为阴性。
Application
人III 型胶原蛋白已用于:
- 作为微阵列分析中的细胞外基质（ECM）蛋白，用于包被硝化纤维膜载玻片进行探测和检测
- 包被微流控迁移设备并研究细胞外基质（ECM）对细胞迁移的应用
- 作为PRESTO-Tango 实验和GTP-Rho 下拉实验（pull-down assay）中的阳性对照，用于评估其对细胞信号传导和相互作用的影响。
Biochem/physiol Actions
胶原III最初以原胶原的形式产生，原胶原是由形成三链绳索状分子的三个pro-alpha1（III）链组成的蛋白。合成后，前胶原分子被细胞修饰。III型原胶原分子从细胞中释放出来，并通过酶处理，该酶将分子的任一端剪掉小片段以形成成熟的胶原。成熟的胶原分子组装成原纤维。分子之间的交联产生非常稳定的原纤维，有助于胶原组织增强功能
