General description

Hexane, a mixture of isomers, is intended for use in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Its low UV absorbance and high volatility make it an excellent choice for trace analysis and sample preparation in various analytical applications.

Application

Hexane can be used as a:
  • Mobile phase in the normal phase high-performance liquid chromatography (NP-HPLC) for the separation and analysis of non-polar compounds.
  • Solvent in the extraction of essential oils and fats from plant materials.
  • Purification of solvent in the crystallization of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
HX0290P-6 and HX0290P-1 are packaged in poly coated glass bottles
