General description

人 TGF-a 是一个 19.7 kDa 的蛋白质，含有 181 个氨基酸残基。非糖基化的、大肠杆菌表达的重组人 LIF 在体外的生物学活性与天然 LIF 没有区别。 人和鼠成熟的 LIF 在氨基酸对照处具有 78％ 的序列同一性。 人 LIF 对人和小鼠细胞均具有同等活性。鼠 LIF 对人细胞的活性比 hLIF 低约 1000 倍。
白血病抑制因子（LIF）是一种淋巴样因子，可通过抑制自发分化来促进胚胎干细胞的长期维持。LIF 具有许多其他活性，包括胆碱能神经元分化、干细胞多能性控制、骨骼和脂肪代谢、某些因子依赖性细胞系的有丝分裂，以及在体内对巨核细胞生成的促进。
