生化/生理作用
识别大多数碱性（II型）角蛋白，即HMW细胞角蛋白。它反应性广泛，并可使大多数上皮细胞及其肿瘤阳性染色。AE3 与表皮的所有层（基底层及以上层）反应。该抗体是区分癌和非上皮肿瘤的良好标志物。 它被用于研究表皮角蛋白的免疫定位、角蛋白的组织分布、各种表皮疾病、口腔粘膜和其它上皮的发育。 AE3 和AE1（货号MAB1612） 广泛用于区分癌和非癌组织。
