整合素在血管增殖、粘附和伤口修复中的作用已被充分证明。细胞粘附受体的整合素家族由至少16种膜相关的异二聚体组成，由以非共价方式缔合的α和β亚基组成。整合素家族的结构和功能多样性基于各个α和β亚基的配对能力。单克隆抗体 MAB16983由人T淋巴细胞通过免疫生产。 该抗体可与灵长类动物和人的整合素a4 发生反应。
