This Anti-c-met Antibody, clone 4AT44 is validated for use in WB for the detection of c-met.

Western Blot: 1:100-1:500.

ELISA (direct): 1:1,000

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Reacts with c-met/HGFR (Hepatocyte growth factor receptor). The Met receptor tyrosine kinase is the prototypical member of a small subfamily of growth factor receptors that when activated, induces mitogenic, motogenic, and morphogenic cellular responses. The ligand for c-met is hepatocyte growth factor/scatter factor (HGF/SF) and while normal HGF/SF-Met signaling is required for embryonic development, abnormal c-met signaling has been strongly implicated in tumorigenesis, particularly in the development of invasive and metastatic phenotypes.

Protein G purified immunoglobulin. Liquid in PBS containing 0.09% sodium azide.

Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months after date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
