Western blot (1:1000)
ELISA (1:100000) when tested against recombinant HIV-1IIIB Nef. For extensive dilution, protein containing or other stabilizing medium should be used.

Recognizes a single 27 kD band in Western blots and is reactive against Nef in immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescent assays. The reactive epitope maps to the COOH terminus of the full length Nef protein. MAB899 does not recognize Nef from HIV-1SF2.
