Biochem/physiol Actions
Clone BT-15 is a mouse monoclonal antibody that specifically detects Histone deacetylase phosphorylated on serine 406 in mitotic synchronized cells. It targets an epitope within 19 amino acids from the C-terminal region.
Physical form
Purified mouse monoclonal antibody IgG2b in buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl with 0.05% sodium azide.
Preparation Note
Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.
Analysis Note
Evaluated by Western Blotting in lysate from HeLa cells pretreated with anti-mitotic agent (Nocodazole).
Western Blotting Analysis: 2 µg/mL of this antibody detected phospho-HDAC1 (Ser406) in lysates from HeLa cells pretreated with Nocodazole (330 nM for 16 h).
