General description

EBI3/IL27B 是功能性细胞因子 Il-27 的 β 亚基。β 亚基是活性所必需的。IL-27 是哺乳动物先天免疫反应的关键细胞因子。IL-27 具有促炎和消炎活性。IL-27 调节 T 辅助细胞的发育以及向 TH1、TH2 和 TH17 效应细胞的分化。IL-27 在 B 细胞同种型转换中也很重要，它可以促进初始 CD4 细胞（而非记忆 CD4 细胞）的快速克隆扩增。IL-27 对肿瘤和癌细胞的抗肿瘤和抗血管生成活性也很重要。β 亚基 EBI3/IL27B 也是 IL-35 的成分，IL-35 是 IL-12α 和 IL-27B/EBI3 的异源二聚体。IL-35 在免疫抑制中起作用。IL-27 是一种分泌的细胞因子，因此 IL-27 β 亚基在细胞内表达，与内质网和膜囊泡相关，并且在细胞外也可作为成熟细胞因子的一部分被检测到。
