General description

Th17 cells, a subset of CD4+ T helper cells, play a crucial role in immune responses by producing a range of cytokines, particularly interleukin-17 (IL-17). In mice, Th17 cytokines, including IL-17A, IL-17F, and IL-22, are involved in promoting inflammation and are key players in the defense against extracellular pathogens, as well as in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. These cytokines help to recruit neutrophils and enhance the production of antimicrobial peptides, contributing to the host′s immune response.

Application

MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze 25 analytes in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants.

Analytes included: CD40 Ligand, GM-CSF, IFN-γ, IL-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-10, IL-12 (p70), IL-13, IL-15, IL-17A, IL-17E/IL-25, IL-17F, IL-21, IL-22, IL-23, IL-27, IL-28B, IL-31, IL-33, MIP-3α/CCL20, TNF-α, TNFβ

Assay Characteristics: Refer to kit protocol for assay cross-reactivity, sensitivity, precision, and accuracy.

Features and Benefits

Expanded Th17 Cytokine Coverage: Detects a broad spectrum of Th17-associated cytokines and chemokines such as IL-17A, IL-17F, IL-21, IL-22, and IL-23—ideal for dissecting immune pathways in autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.

Low Sample Volume Requirement: Designed for use with minimal sample input, making it highly suitable for mouse models and studies with limited biological material.

High-Throughput Multiplexing via Luminex® Technology: Utilizes magnetic bead-based multiplexing to analyze multiple targets in a single well, reducing reagent use and increasing lab efficiency.

Mouse-Specific Verification: Optimized for mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants to ensure reliable performance in preclinical research.

Tailored for Autoimmune and Oncology Applications: Supports investigations into Th17 cell involvement in diseases such as arthritis, Crohn’s disease, diabetes, and cancer.
