间充质干细胞，也称为骨髓基质细胞，被定义为具有粘附性骨髓来源的多能祖细胞的自我更新群体，具有分化为几种间充质细胞谱系的能力。 在体外确定的培养物中，间充质干细胞已显示易于分化为形成骨骼、软骨、脂肪、肌腱和肌肉组织的谱系特异性细胞。

从正常人骨髓中分离出EMD Millipore’s人间充质干细胞（骨髓），并在P2处冷冻保存，以确保最佳表型和最高活力和铺板效率。这些细胞作为贴壁细胞单层增殖，并显示出强大的体外扩增能力，同时保持其分化为多种谱系（包括脂肪细胞，成骨细胞和软骨细胞）的潜力。

人间充质干细胞（骨髓）应保存在液氮中。保证细胞至少3次群体倍增，而不会显著影响细胞表面标志物的表达和分化潜能。

-每个小瓶在P2处至少包含1x10⁶个活细胞。
-解冻时细胞活率大于75%，并且在初次解冻后可以将细胞培养至少3倍。
-骨髓供体的HIV、乙型肝炎和丙型肝炎检测为阴性。
-根据细胞遗传学分析，核型显然是正常的。
-细胞的支原体污染检测为阴性。
