General description

ES2N Basal Medium is a defined serum-free neural basal medium. This base medium offers flexibility to customers adding their own neural supplements or growth factors. Must be supplemented prior to use.

Application

• When supplemented with Millipore’s serum-free Neuro2 and Neuro27 supplements this medium supports the monolayer differentiation of mouse ES and iPS cells to neurons.
• When supplemented with bFGF, EGF and the serum-free Neuro2 and Neuro27 supplements this medium supports the maintenance and expansion of neural stem cells.

Murine Embryonic Stem Cell Culture Procedures & Protocols
