General description
ββ-半乳糖苷酶或β-D-半乳糖苷半乳糖水解酶是由4条相同的各含1023个氨基酸的肽链组成的四聚体。对D-半乳糖表现高度专一性,完全激活需要K+或Na+和Mg2+。ββ-半乳糖苷酶催化含氧苷键的β-d-吡喃半乳糖苷的反应。
37℃,以2-硝基苯基-β-D-半乳糖苷为底物,25℃,以乳糖为底物,约30 U/mg;用BSA标准化。
Application
ββ-半乳糖苷酶已用于酶联免疫吸附测定(ELISA)。使用本β-半乳糖苷酶可制作酶测定的校准曲线。

Preparation Note
