General description

乙醛脱氢酶(ALDH)是一种可溶性酶,活性依赖于钾离子和半胱氨酸。ALDH家族由19个人类基因组成。ALDH基因在细胞核、胞质、线粒体和内质网中表达。ALDH是烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸磷酸(NADH)和烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸磷酸(NADPH)循环系统的组成部分。

Application

乙醛脱氢酶已用于评估光纤生物传感器,从而测定液相中的乙醛(AcH)(AcH生物传感器)。

Biochem/physiol Actions

乙醛脱氢酶(ALDH)可调节非P450乙醛还原酶系统。它可保护细胞免受有毒乙醛的影响。该基因的突变与Sjogren Larsson综合征、Larsson综合征、II型高蛋白血症和癌症相关。ALDH参与了乙醛氧化成酸的反应。ALDH-2可降低因心肌梗塞或心脏手术后出现的心脏缺血。

Physical form
