应用

向对照组和表现出糖尿病的妊娠大鼠中注射叶酸,以研究叶酸补充剂能否减轻糖尿病和葡萄糖诱导的大鼠胚胎畸形的发生。它还可用于合成N10-三氟乙酰基蝶酸。

生化/生理作用

叶酸(Folic acid)也称为叶酸(folate)、维生素M或维生素Bc,是水溶性维生素B9的一种形式。叶酸疗法可降低高同型半胱氨酸血症患者的精氨酸和不对称二甲基精氨酸(ADMA)血浆水平升高。叶酸在怀孕初期可作为食品补充剂降低神经管畸形的风险。

制备说明

叶酸溶于热的稀HCl、H2SO4和约1%的沸水中。它在甲醇中微溶,在冷水中具有非常微弱的溶解度(25°C时0.0016 mg/ml)。此外,该产物可明显溶于乙醇和丁醇中,并在乙酸、苯酚、吡啶、碱金属氢氧化物和碳酸盐的溶液中具有相对的溶解性。它不溶于丙酮、苯、醚和氯仿。
