General description
Albendazole-2-aminosulfone is a metabolite of albendazole which is a broad-spectrum antihelmintic agent.
Application
Albendazole-2-aminosulfone may be used as a marker in the determination of albendazole residues in bovine milk using liquid-liquid extraction followed by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with a fluorometric detector (RP-HPLC). It may be used as a reference standard in the determination of albendazole-2-aminosulfone in tissue samples using ultra performance liquid chromatography (UPLC).
