2-溴乙胺氢溴酸盐(BEA-HBr)可用作反应物制备:
  • 氨基功能化离子液体,1-胺乙基-3-甲基咪唑六氟磷酸盐([2-aemim][PF6])。[2-aemim][PF6]可作为芳族醛、丙二腈、乙酰乙酸乙酯发生Knoevenagel缩合反应合成4H-吡喃衍生物的催化剂。
  • 通过环缩合反应合成2-(N-aryl-N-芳酰基)氨基-4,5-二氢噻唑衍生物的催化剂。

也可用作尼龙表面改性的烷基化剂,以获得伯/仲/叔胺基。
