一般描述

甲酸乙酯是甲酸的乙酯。它的微波光谱表明存在两种异构体形式，它们的羰基氧原子上有乙基 顺式 ，但在-CH 2 -O 键上有不同的甲基排列。有研究报道了其热分解生成相应的的酸和烯烃的动力学。

应用

甲酸乙酯已用于 N -（2-三乙氧基硅丙基）甲酰胺的制备。已用于合成 N -甲基-3-苯基双环 [2.2.1] 庚烷-2-胺盐酸盐。
可用于异黄酮的合成。
