General description

苯甲酸是一种一元有机芳香羧酸。它可以由钴或锰催化甲苯的大气氧化合成。近年来，由甲苯为原料，采用TiO2 纳米管电极制备苯甲酸。
苯甲酸与加氢试剂反应生成六氢苯甲酸。产物在石灰或碱存在下的热分解产生苯和二氧化碳。
