General description
碘磺隆甲基钠是一种全身性磺酰脲类除草剂，会影响乙酰乳酸合成酶（ALS）的活性，从而导致植物变形，生长迟缓，萎黄病并最终导致死亡。它被杂草的地上部分吸收。由于该除草剂在环境中具有高流动性，因此也能穿透地表和地下水。
Application
碘磺隆甲基钠可用作液相色谱串联质谱（LC-MS）分析的储备标准品，用于测定自来水和沥滤水中的磺酰脲类除草剂。
