General description

Halosulfuron-methyl is a highly active postemergence sulfonylurea herbicide, which finds applications in weed control management.

Application

Halosulfuron-methyl may be used as a standard in the determination of halosulfuron methyl in water samples using liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (LC/ES-MS).
