General description

MCPA-2-ethylhexyl ester is a systemic, post-emergent herbicide used for the selective control of annual and perennial broad leaved weeds in cereals and other specific crops.

Application

MCPA-2-ethylhexyl ester may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in formulations using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC) as well as gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection (GC-MS).
