General description
Pyriftalid is a pyrimidinyloxybenzoic herbicide used for the control of grass weeds in rice. Its mode of action involves inhibiting the biosynthesis of amino acids in weeds.
Application
Pyriftalid may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in honey samples using quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe (QuEChERS) extraction method followed by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS).
