General description
Imazamethabenz-methyl is a pesticide used for selective control of grass weeds in wheat and wild oat. The mode of action involves inhibition of the enzyme activity of acetolactate synthase, involved in the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids.
Application
Imazamethabenz-methyl may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in fruits and vegetables, soil and water samples by various chromatography techniques.
