Application
四苯基硼酸钠（NaTPB）可用作基于聚氯乙烯（PVC）的膜的电位传感器中的阴离子鉴别剂，用于测定水溶液中的铜。已证明将其添加到膜中可有利于优化感应的选择性并降低整体膜阻抗，从而显著提高Cu2+选择性电位传感器的性能。NaTBP还因其对铽（III）离子具有潜在的响应而被研究作为铽（III）膜电极中的亲脂性添加剂。在通过气相色谱（GC）结合原子荧光光谱（AFS）、微波介导的等离子体原子发射光谱（AES）和质谱（MS）对环境样品中的有机汞进行测定之前，它可用作有机汞的水溶液衍生试剂。
