应用

四丁基氢氧化铵（TBAOH）可用作：
  • 苯酚与环碳酸盐羟基烷基化反应的催化剂，以合成芳基β-羟基乙醚。
  • 木质素选择性降解为单体芳烃的碱。
  • 通过与硝基呋喃酮反应合成羟基呋喃酮四丁基铵盐的反应物。
它也可用于 SNS（简单纳米卷结构）和 INS（插层纳米卷）六铌酸盐纳米卷的溶剂热合成 。
