General description
Monodisperse polystyrene based micro particles (size: 12.0 μm) are a particle size standard, designed to identify the particle size distribution (PSD) profile of test samples.
Application
Used to calibrate, qualify and monitor the performance of particle size analyzers, surface scanning instruments and particle counters.
Also used:
Also used:
- in acoustic traps to study the effect of particle detection on trapping performance of lab on a chip systems
- as a reference of known dimensions to characterize real-time imaging systems
- as a calibration standard to validate the Airy Disc First Fringe (ADFF) analysis technique based on size measurements.
Features and Benefits
- suitable for routine instrument calibration checks, testing and corrections
- available in 5 mL pack size as a neat sample
Analysis Note
