This product is biorenewable and thus it aligns with "Safer Solvents and Auxiliaries" and "Use of Renewable Feedstocks".  This anhydrous grade Ethyl Acetate is a drop-in replacement for any Ethyl Acetate application. Made from renewable carbon (verified through C14 ASTM D6866-16 testing) and produced in an environmentally friendly way that reduces the carbon footprint of production and reliance on fossil fuels. Because it is not from petroleum, it is free from many non-renewable contaminants, such as benzene, phthalates, and other phenols, leading to a higher quality product.

Ethyl acetate may be used as solvent for the synthesis of γ-benzyl-L-glutamic acid N-carboxy anhydride (BLG-NCA)
