8-苯胺基-1-萘磺酸（ANS）是研究蛋白折叠/去折叠途径的中间状态的重要染料。也可用于检测与蛋白聚集有关的构象变化。ANS在水溶液中是非荧光的，但与BSA（牛血清白蛋白）和变性蛋白结合后发出强烈荧光。它可用于检测血清白蛋白。ANS主要与暴露于溶剂的非极性（疏水性）位点相互作用。
