Biochem/physiol Actions
碘乙酸（IAA）封闭半胱氨酸的巯基。通过与半胱氨酸活性位点的巯基相互作用，IAA抑制3-磷酸甘油醛脱氢酶（G3PDH）。IAA 抑制实体艾氏（Ehrlich）癌的进展。IAA 是饮用水进行碘化消毒的一种副产物。对哺乳动物细胞存在细胞毒性。
