Application
These Secondary Standards are qualified as Certified Reference Materials. These are suitable for use in several analytical applications including but not limited to pharma release testing, pharma method development for qualitative and quantitative analyses, food and beverage quality control testing, and other calibration requirements.
Nitrobenzene can be used as an internal standard to quantify monoacylated aromatic compounds such as 4-acetylanisole, 4-acetylisobutylbenzene, 2-acetylthiophene, 2-acetylfuran, and N-nitrosomorpholine using Gas chromatography and HPLC techniques. It can also be used as an internal standard in quantitative ¹H NMR spectroscopy to determine product yields for the Heck reactions, and chlorinated arenes and heteroarenes.
