General description
Potassium phosphate monobasic (KH2PO4) is a commonly use reagent to prepare Phosphate buffers, such as Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS).
Application
KH2PO4 has been used as a component for:
- phosphate buffers, including PBS buffer used for molecular biology and cell culture-protein extraction buffer for enzymatic assay s
- in the mobile phase for HPLC to measure neurotransmitters from cell extracts
