一般描述

六水合氯化钴是氯化钴的水合形式。它被用作各种有机反应的催化剂,如醇的乙酰化和甲基化,羧酸酯的化学选择性还原和缩合反应。

应用

六水氯化钴(II)可作为催化剂用于:      
  • 转化在无机碱的存在下将各种醛肟转化为相应的腈。      
  • 制备有机-无机聚偏氟乙烯纳米纤维复合材料(PVDF/CoCl2),用于 NaBH4 制氢。

它还可以作为钴前体合成镍钴基二元金属磷化物(NiCoP)空心球,用于电催化和储能(超级电容器)应用。
