General description
氯酚红-β-D-吡喃半乳糖苷(CPRG)是一种长波长黄色染料,常用于比色检测。它可作为 β-半乳糖苷酶 (β-gal) 的底物,半乳糖苷酶可水解CPRG 形成氯酚红(紫色)。该产品通过测量其在 570 nm 处的吸光度进行定量检测。CPRG 用于鉴定粪便大肠菌群。它的灵敏度比邻-硝基苯基-β-半乳糖苷(ONPG)等显色剂高10倍左右。CPRG还具有很高的快速转化率。
