LR White 树脂是一种粘度很低的树脂，无毒，适用于光学显微镜和电子显微镜的各种应用。LR 白色切片的主要优点是显示出极轻微的非特异性染色。聚合树脂的切片是亲水性的，因此免疫细胞化学试剂容易渗入切片。其低粘度使 LR 白色成为渗透植物组织以及脱钙骨骼和牙齿的理想工具。
