Human Peripheral Blood T Cells (HPBT) provide a useful in vitro tool for studying the biology and pathology of CD4⁺ cells. HPBT cells play critical roles in the regulation of immune responses, and are responsible for mediating many of the effector mechanisms of the immune system. Increased activity in the field of immunotherapy, coupled with the expense of clinical trials, has led to renewed interest in obtaining high purity human T cells to meet needs for research and development. Our CD4⁺ T Cells are isolated from human blood of healthy donors and cryopreserved immediately after isolation.

Immune response regulation, direct destruction of infected cells, immunocompetence, scanning of intracellular environment, effector mechanisms, realistic in vitro model, immunotherapeutics. T cell origination, development, differentiation, expansion, proliferation, maturation and activation. Hematopoesis, stem cells, positive & negative selection. T cell receptors (TCRs), antigen recognition, costimulatory molecules, interaction with foreign antigens, signaling cascades and cytokine production.

Immediately after isolation, 5,000,000 cells in DMEM containing 45% FBS & 10% DMSO.

Each lot was tested for proper morphology, CD4 positive selection, Negative for HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C
