应用

G418二硫酸盐是一种氨基糖苷类抗生素，结构与庆大霉素相似，可用于筛选和维持利用iNOS启动子构建体以及新霉素抗性基因转染的原核和真核细胞†。不同细胞系具有不同的筛选和维持最佳浓度。 细菌和藻类最多需要5 μg/mL而动物细胞则可能需要300-500 μg/mL。

生化/生理作用

G-418对于蛋白合成的抑制是在延伸的早期阶段、起始后、翻译起始阶段以及翻译将要起始的阶段之前。

注意
