General description

Application
人激活素A已被用作 modified barth′s saline 的成分，用于体外诱导前肾。它还被用作罗斯威尔公园纪念研究所（RPMI）培养基的成分，用于在体外诱导多能真皮成纤维细胞的胰腺分化。
Biochem/physiol Actions
激活素在激素生成、细胞稳态和分化程序的调节中起着至关重要的作用。激活素A和B的表达升高会导致肌肉质量下降。激活素A和B都有望用作慢性疲劳综合征/肌痛性脑脊髓炎（CFS / ME）的血清标志物。
