Application
来自牛脾脏的腺苷脱氨酶已被用于代谢三磷酸腺苷 (ATP) 和腺苷至无活性形式（肌苷）。它也被用作 KRH（Krebs-用 Hepes 缓冲的林格氏液（含 CaCl2）培养基，以便除去用于环磷酸腺苷 (cAMP) 测定的外源性腺苷。

Biochem/physiol Actions
腺苷脱氨酶/ ADA可用作鉴定结核性胸腔积液的重要标志。 ADA的活性通常在肝病结核病、伤寒、感染性单核细胞增多症和一些恶性肿瘤中较高。
