General description
消泡剂消除了由于收集培养基中的蛋白质和/或碳水化合物而在冲击期间形成的过度泡沫。消泡剂 B 乳液是基于硅氧烷的消泡剂。消泡剂 B 乳液不会影响细菌的生长。消泡剂 B 乳液在细菌的摇瓶培养中起消泡剂的作用。
Application
消泡剂 B 乳液已被用于：
- 提高收集培养基的收集效率
- 作为应力颗粒裂解缓冲液中的一种组份，用于减少发泡，在宿主细胞裂解缓冲液中减少由洗涤剂引起的起泡
- 提高抗生素的溶解度
- 作为细菌生长培养基中的发泡对照
